Depending on how you interact with us, we may process:
- name;

- telephone number;
- the content of the messages sent;
- data relating to the request for information and to the booking;
- data required for invoicing and payment;
- data relating to the newsletter subscription;
- technical data associated with the use of the website.
During the initial consultation assessing suitability, information relating to physical and mental health, medication or other circumstances relevant to safe participation may also be addressed.
Such health information is discussed orally and is not recorded, audio-recorded, stored or incorporated into any file or database of Lucid Dream Retreats.
If a contraindication is identified, participation in the retreat will not be possible. The medical or health reason that led to that decision is not recorded.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Contacts and requests for information
The data provided through the website, by email or through other contact channels are processed in order to respond to the request, to arrange the initial consultation and to prepare a possible contractual relationship.
The processing is based, as the case may be, on pre-contractual steps requested by the interested party and on the legitimate interest of Lucid Dream Retreats in responding to the communications received.
Bookings and performance of the contract
The data required for organising participation, payment, invoicing and communication with the participant are processed for the conclusion and performance of the contract.
Compliance with legal obligations
Certain data may be retained whenever this is necessary in order to comply with tax, accounting or other obligations laid down in the applicable legislation.
Newsletter
The sending of the newsletter is based on the consent of the interested party. Consent may be withdrawn at any time by means of the unsubscribe link included in the messages or by contacting us directly.
Website analytics and operation
The technical data strictly necessary for the operation, security and protection of the website may be processed on the basis of the legitimate interest of Lucid Dream Retreats.
Analytics tools that are not strictly necessary, such as Google Analytics 4, will only be used once the applicable consent has been given.
4. Suitability assessment and health information
Before participation is confirmed, an initial consultation is held in order to assess whether the retreat is suitable for the interested party.
In that consultation, questions may be asked concerning physical or psychological conditions, medication and other possible contraindications. The sole purpose of those questions is to assess the safety and suitability of participation.
The answers are not audio-recorded, noted down or stored by Lucid Dream Retreats.
Where a relevant contraindication exists, participation will be refused for safety reasons. The refusal of participation does not entail the retention of the medical or health information that gave rise to the decision.
5. Service providers
Technology providers may be used for the operation of the website and of our services, including:
- Cal.com, for scheduling consultations;
- Brevo, for managing and sending the newsletter;
- Google Analytics 4, for statistical analysis of the website, only after consent where this is required;
- Netlify, for hosting and technical provision of the website;
- PayPal, where the participant chooses that method of payment;
- the banking institutions involved in payments by bank transfer.
These providers may process the data necessary for the provision of their respective services in accordance with their functions and with the applicable legislation.
6. International transfers
Some technology providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where there is an international transfer of personal data, the mechanisms provided for in the GDPR will be used, including, where applicable, adequacy decisions of the European Commission, standard contractual clauses or other appropriate safeguards.
7. Retention
We retain data only for the period necessary for the respective purposes.
Data relating to contacts that do not result in a booking are deleted or anonymised once they are no longer necessary.
Data associated with bookings, payments, invoicing and contracts are retained for the period necessary for the contractual relationship and thereafter for the periods required by tax or accounting legislation or necessary for the exercise or defence of rights.
Data used for sending the newsletter are processed until consent is withdrawn, without prejudice to the retention of the minimum elements necessary to demonstrate and honour unsubscribe requests.
Health data collected during the suitability consultation are not retained.
